The Book of Entropy

These images are from an ongoing exploration of living, dying, and the space in between. The narrative is quite personal, as it is based on the story of my grandmother, who had dementia and lived at home with me for more than three years.. However personal this project maybe, it is what lies beyond the narrative – the universal issues surrounding love and loss, joy and grief, the disintegration of mind and body, and the resilience of the human spirit - that are the true inspiration behind the images.
